Abstract:

Good leaders can make the difference between business success and business

failure. The first part of this Leadership Skills course provides attendants with the awareness and techniques to lead more effectively, influence others and become inspirational role models within their organization. It is based on the foreign understanding of the notion of leadership and its effect on organizations and people.

Foreign leaders show their emotions, heavily involve employees in the decision

making, recognize failure, confront their team. Such is not always the case in

Chinese structures. The second part of this course could be dedicated to the audience to contract their vision of Chinese leadership with the foreign perspective.


Part一What does it take to be a leader?


Moving from roles based on technical skills into leadership involves a change in responsibilities, and an evolution of one's values and sense of self.

  • How do we act as a leader, not just as a manager?

  • How to establish the image of a leader that can be trusted by his team?

  • How to communicate effectively with teams to inspire them?

Part 2一Developing and empowering people:

Giving employees the tools to execute their task and and succeed in it
